France
France offers several types of visas depending on the duration and purpose of the visit. France is a member of the European Union and the Schengen Area. Here is a summary of the primary visa categories:
Citizens of certain non-EU countries must hold a short-stay visa when travelling to the schengen area. A schengen visa is an entry permit for non-EU nationals to make a short, temporary visit of up to 90 days in any 180-day period to a country in the schengen area.
Specifically for foreign nationals who require a visa and intend to work in France for a period not exceeding 90 days.
