In order to obtain this visa, it is mandatory to receive an invitation letter from a registered business entity in Saudi Arabia, although some nationalities may have exemptions under bilateral agreements.
A temporary work visa is a single-entry visa designed to facilitate short-term employment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia catering to the needs of specific projects or temporary employment scenarios. Such visa is typically valid for 90 days and can be extended for another 90 days.
A work and residence permit (Iqama) allows foreign nationals to live and work in Saudi Arabia for extended periods. Such visa is typically issued for one or two years and renewable annually by the sponsoring employer. The sponsor in Saudi Arabia is responsible for renewal of the visa, and compliance with Saudi labour laws.
The Saudi premium residency visa (also known as Saudi Green Card) is designed to attract global talent and investors to Saudi Arabia.
In order to obtain this visa, an applicant must own a property in KSA valued at SAR 4 million or above. Such visa provides long-term residence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with exclusive benefits.
