It was crisis time and you ladies stepped up to the plate
Just a quick note to thank you for helping out! It was crisis time and you ladies stepped up to the plate (baseball term). I appreciate your help and apologies for all the phone calls.Professional Golfer
Vaida has done a wonderful job and has been very responsive with the daily crises of submitting our Tier 1 application. She has been extremely patient with us as well so we are very grateful to both Rahul and Vaida. Honestly we were shocked but overjoyed that the visa was approved so readily and without an interview or additional documentation. We wish you the best and thank you so much for your help and support.Kevin and Jane
Happy to recommend
A good friend had recommended Amisha from Hudson McKenzie. I needed help with my application for British Citizenship and was looking for a competent lawyer to help with the process. I was not disappointed: Amisha and her colleague Vaida were very competent and personable at the same time. Very approachable and friendly and happy to help, advise and reassure all the way through the process. Thank you very much, both of you, you made a stressful time just that bit easier. Wholehearted cooperation and transparency
"I am writing this review overjoyed and filled with happiness and gratitude. I take this opportunity to thank you Rahul, for your whole hearted cooperation and transparency kept by you all the time. Frankly speaking, when I approached Rahul on 21-May-2012, I was in a very tough situation. My company had applied for Sponsorship license which was still pending and I was about to finish my PSW visa by June 15th. I was really in a dilemma whether I will get my visa or not, but by God’s grace and by the sincere effort by Rahul in updating all the documents needed we have been finally rewarded.I really liked your approach all throughout the process and I assure you that I will recommend all my friends and relatives who are looking for immigration help in UK to your firm. My special wishes to all your team for the support."Kalyan Chakravarthy
Attention to Detail and Responsiveness
We have been very pleased with their advice, attention to detail and responsiveness which has sped us through the immigration process in a very short time frame. If you are thinking “why do I need to pay someone else to help me through the process” I can only say that without Rahul’s support and advice throughout, we would have been a lot more stressed and possibly would have fallen at several hurdles along the way. We are both used to dealing with forms and bureaucracy but we found ourselves going round in circles at times trying to work out the UKBA paperwork. Whenever we had a query, Rahul was always able to e-mail us back straight away with the advice we needed. His experience enables him to cut through all the reams of guidance notes, forms and lists of requirements which eases the path considerably. Rahul takes a keen interest in his clients and will always do his best to get a positive and swift outcome. We are really pleased with the service we received and would recommend Hudson McKenzie to anyone looking for Immigration Lawyers.Daryl Pollock

UK Immigration Lawyers London
The UKVI operates a Points-Based system (PBS) – designed for attracting high achievers. There is a lot at stake when it happens to be you that needs a successful visa application for yourself and/or your business.
Whether you are looking to invest here, start a business, attract talent to your company or get that university place, we can help you. Our team of London Immigration Lawyers specialise in taking eligible people through this process.
There are 5 tiers of immigration for highly skilled people and a number of sub- categories. We are the experts in helping you get the right visa whether it is for you personally or for your company.
Visa Applications for Individuals
As a highly skilled person you are required to pass a points-based assessment. We can take you through the process.
Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)
The Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) route is for persons of exceptional talent which covers migrants who have won international recognition in scientific and cultural fields, or who show sufficient exceptional promise to be awarded such recognition in the future. Applications by those with exceptional promise must be endorsed by Home Office approved competent body in the relevant field. The ‘exceptional talent’ category is subject to a limit of 1,000 places.
Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)
The Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa category is for those investing in the United Kingdom by setting up or taking over, and being actively involved in the running of one or more businesses in the United Kingdom.
Tier 1 (Investor)
The Tier 1 (Investor) visa category is for those high-net-worth individuals who want to make a substantial financial investment in the UK of GBP 2m or more.
Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur)
The Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) route is for those UK graduates who have been identified by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as having developed world class innovative ideas or entrepreneurial skills. Applicants will be able to extend their stay in the UK after graduation to develop their business.
The UKVI will allocate 1,000 places and distribute these equally among all applying HEIs. The HEI must be an A rated and Highly Trusted Sponsor for Tier 4 purposes.
Tier 4 (Student visa)
Our Immigration Lawyers have years of experience in providing a comprehensive service for international students wishing to study in the UK.
In 2009, the UK Government introduced new rules for students seeking entry to the UK and as a result, every student from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) wishing to study in the UK must be in possession of a CAS (confirmation of acceptance for studies) from a recognised UK institution.
Key Areas of advice:
- Advice on University rankings and their Sponsorship status
- Assistance in obtaining CAS from Universities

- Tier 4 extension applications
- Assistance in switching immigration status e.g. Tier 2

Tier 5 of the Points Based System is designed to accommodate people coming to the UK on a temporary basis who have a job offer from a licensed sponsor and a valid certificate of sponsorship.
We offer a complete service for Tier 5 of the Points Based System and can help you to establish which is the most suitable option based on your needs.
Currently there are six different categories under Tier 5:-

- Temporary Workers- Charity Workers
- Temporary Workers- Religious Workers
- Temporary Workers- Government Authorised Exchange
- Temporary Workers- International Agreement
- Youth Mobility Scheme
The Youth Mobility Scheme has replaced the Working Holiday Maker Scheme. It is designed to enable young nationals of certain countries to gain entry clearance to live and work in the UK for a maximum of 24 months.
Nationals of following countries are eligible to participate in the scheme:
- New Zealand
The scheme is also open to British Overseas Citizens, British Overseas Territories Citizens or British Nationals (Overseas).
The team of Immigration Lawyers at Hudson McKenzie can assist you with your application to apply for entry clearance under these schemes.
Visa Applications for Companies
Tier 2 Visas
We manage the Tier 2 Sponsorship Process for a number of employers. The reason they choose Hudson McKenzie is because we take away the stress from employers by handling the entire process from the start. This includes updating the Home Office’s Sponsor Management System as and when required.
We provide ongoing support to ensure that employers remain fully compliant with the stringent regulations at all times. We advise and help employers create best practice policy and procedures. If required we can also request additional certificates from the Home Office on behalf of employers.
There are currently four sub-categories under the Tier 2 scheme:
- Tier 2 (General)
- Tier 2 Intra-Company Transfer (ICT)
- Tier 2 Sports People
- Tier 2 Minister of Religion
We issue certificates of sponsorship on behalf of employers for individuals who have been offered a job and also provide full assistance to them in obtaining entry clearance/leave to remain once a certificate of sponsorship has been issued. We have an arrangement with the UKVI and can submit applications by fast track at short notice.
We also advise and assist employers on the Resident Labour Market Test (advertising) requirements.
