Global Immigration Update – South Africa
South Africa: A new ‘reciprocal visa waiver’ for all Angolan passport holders will be introduced for up to 30-day visits within 90-day visits per year.
The Department of Home Affairs (DHS) will introduce the new waiver starting from the 1st December 2017.
This means that those who hold an Angolan passport will no longer need a ‘Port of Entry’ Visa in advance, but may be issued the visa upon arrival instead, when traveling to South Africa.
The same also applies to South African nationals when traveling to Angola.
