UKVI Update – New Visa Process

November 29, 2018 | Immigration, Latest Thinking, News

On 5th November the UK Home Office implemented a new visa processing system at the Premium Application Centers across the UK – So what’s new?

Following from the implementation of the new system, instead of applicants having only the option of Croydon to travel to for their submission, there are now several new locations in London that will be make it more accessible for applicants to travel to instead.

The motive comes as an initiative of the UKVI to become a more “modern” and “convenient” system for all of its UKVI customers, as stated by Caroline Nokes, the Immigration Minister.

This now means that the following locations shall now be opened for UKVI applicants to travel to instead:

  • Croydon
  • Kensington
  • Shepherd’s Bush
  • Victoria

The UKVI has also announced that from 29 November 2018 all of the previous Premium Service Centers shall be closed.
