Statement of Comparability – UK NARIC Changes

September 19, 2017 | Latest Thinking, News

As of 25th September 2017, there will be changes to the Statements of Comparability (SoC) issued by UK NARIC for overseas qualifications assessments.

The change that will be implemented will be to the design of the document to enhance the security features of the printed statements and increase protection against fraud and tampering. The new SoCs will be delivered with a covering letter to introduce the statement and give further insight into the comparison and evaluation process.

The reverse of the new SoC will feature additional information about the Statement and the qualification comparison itself, with explanations of UK NARIC’s evaluation methodology and the UK qualifications framework.

Other assessments carried out by the body will remain the same, such as English Language Assessments, will not feature major changes, however, the headed paper they are printed on will also feature a new, simpler, and more modern look, to match the heading on the new Statement of Comparability.
