Ireland: Online appointment booking faces issues

Immigrants are expected to pay visa site fees so to secure appointments when renewing their visas through the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS).

The fees come as an attempt to reinforce the online booking system, since the recent issue in which the action to book online appointments was blocked. The system was introduced in 2016 as an initiative to lessen physical queue at the immigration office.
