Global Immigration Update – Denmark

November 21, 2017 | Immigration, Latest Thinking, News

Denmark: The online booking system for the Central Person Register (CPR) at the International House in Copenhagen has been closed until further notice.

Following from this, all CPR applicants must now go to the International House in person. This now means that the waiting process can be severely delayed until the online booking system is operational again.

All Residents of Denmark are legally required to have a CPR number regarding any contact with the Danish authorities, such as tax and social security issues.

Furthermore, CPR registration is required  for all foreign nationals staying in Denmark for more than three months with an EU registration certificate or residence permit and a permit address.
