How easy is it to switch Visa categories?
Most do not know that they can switch between visa categories – so how easy it to do this?
The most common switch made is typically the switch from a Tier 2 to a Tier 1 Visa as a lot of employees who were initially sponsored within their employment role then desire to change to a role which may be more suitable for the Tier 1 Visa such as setting up their own business or making an investment within the UK economy.
For example, some of the requirements that the potential applicant must have before applying for a switch for a Tier 1 Visa such as the Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa if they have at least £200,000 investment funds at the time of applying as well as the necessary qualifications and skills for setting up a business within the UK.
On the other hand, when desiring to switch to a Tier 1 Investor Visa, the applicant must have at least £2,000,000.00 so to invest into the UK economy, in which can be transferred and invested.
Finally, if an applicant wishes to switch to a Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa, the applicant must make sure that they make the application before their existing leave reaches its expiration date. The applicant must also receive endorsement from a nominated institution in relation to the applicants current field.
