UK Tier 1 Investor Visa
The UK Tier 1 (Investor) Visa is to undergo changes which are due to take effect on 6 November 2014. These changes will apply to Tier 1 (Investor) Visa applicants who are allowed to enter or remain in the UK either on or after this date.
This UK Investor Visa is intended for those individuals willing, and with ample financial assets, to invest in the UK and its economy. The changes expected to be made include an increase on the current £1million investment threshold to £2million, as a minimum investment. Other changes include removal of the condition to top up of investments accounts if the invested amount falls below the required level and removal of the loan option.
For all those looking to invest in the UK or for any who remain in the UK and want to know how they might be affected by the forthcoming changes, Hudson McKenzie, as a member of UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), is well-equipped to clarify the affect the changes might have on you as an investor. We give guidance to overseas investors by explaining the terms of the UK Investor Visa and by selecting potential investment opportunities.
